Binary file explorer

Open any file to see its bytes, with color-coded structure for common formats (PNG, JPEG, GIF, ZIP and Office files, ELF, Windows EXE, MP4, SQLite, WAV, PDF). Edit bytes, search, decode values, extract strings and compare two files. It all runs in your browser; the file never leaves your device.

Editing overwrites bytes in place (it can't insert or delete), and nothing changes on disk until you download the edited copy. Very large files (hundreds of MB) use a lot of memory. Format structure is read directly from the bytes; damaged files may show partial or odd structure.
